1) Dates and Official Communications

1. Within the next few weeks, the Department of General Services (DGS) intends to post information regarding a new 2020 ITCS MSA opportunity

2. Get updates by searching on Cal eProcure (https://www.caleprocure.ca.gov/pages/public-search.aspx) using the anticipated solicitation number: 5207025

3. Information is also available on the ITCS MSA website (https://www.dgs.ca.gov/PD/Resources/Page-Content/Procurement-Division-Resources-List-Folder/IT-Consulting-MSA-5167010)

2)Not the Same Master Services Agreement- It's More Competitive

Similar to previous ITCS MSAs, the new opportunity will:

1. Allow for negotiations

2. Require proposers to obtain customer references to compete in 3 tiers and for multiple classifications

3. Provide for an application process after award to add new contractors

New changes include:

1. An ability to compete for projects

2. A mechanism to refresh rates after award

3. More information to come upon solicitation release

To enable potential proposers to focus on the new ITCS MSA opportunity, the Application Process for ITCS MSA 5167010 will close October 1, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. PT. The State highly encourages interested parties to participate in the new ITCS MSA 5207025 opportunity available soon.
